Colm Manning is head of the Firm’s Corporate and Commercial Unit.  Colm possesses significant transactional expertise in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, reorganisations and joint ventures.  Colm also advises clients operating in the agri-food, software, consumer goods, financial services, technology, energy, pharma, hospitality, healthcare and professional services sectors on business contracts (including IP contracts), corporate governance, company law compliance, secured lending and data security. 

Prior to joining BDM Boylan Colm worked for a number of years in the corporate unit of a top 5 law firm in Dublin before moving to another leading commercial practice in Cork.  Colm is active in the Munster SME space and is regularly invited to present to industry representative bodies and incubator programmes on buying and selling a business, raising finance, shareholders’ agreements, ownership and exploitation of IP, directors’ duties, data privacy and key commercial contracts.
