The latest Director Sentiment Monitor survey clearly shows that the uncertainty evident over the past twelve months has intensified in Q2. The message is clear - Irish business leaders are worried, and they want the Irish Government to take note and deliver accordingly in next month's Budget, which is just weeks before the Brexit deadline. One could definitely argue that the position has become even more dynamic and uncertain over past few weeks given what has been happening across UK politics. Certainly a time for our Government to be brave and decisive in terms of what can be delivered in the forthcoming Budget to support SMEs and the broader economy.
