Patrick Mullins, Partner, recently delivered a two hour Seminar on the Companies Act, 2014, to 75 Accountants at the Rochestown Park Hotel on Wednesday the 29th of April. Patrick was the sole speaker at the event, at the invitation of James Dillane, FCPA, Chairperson Munster CPA Society, The Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland (CPA Ireland). Patrick covered the different types of Companies envisaged by the Act, which comes into force on the 1st of June, 2015. Patrick also addressed the many changes in relation to enforcement of debts against Companies, Restrictions and Disqualifications of Directors and Audit Exemptions.
