William Hanly


William is a solicitor in our litigation department.

Having obtained an Honours BCL degree from UCC and having qualified as a solicitor in 2012, he joined our firm in 2014.

William practices across all litigation areas, to include commercial litigation, professional negligence, personal injuries, employment law and debt recovery.

He also has a particular interest in acting for customers effected by overcharging on their mortgages and in relation to the tracker mortgage scandal. He has written several articles for our website and for printed media on this topic.

An active sportsman, William also has a keen interest in the area of Sports Law, in which he has also had articles published. He acts for many clubs and societies across the Munster region, providing advice in relation to risk and compliance, club constitution issues, internal disputes and contractual issues with club employees.
